CANDLE LIGHT

The candle light in the darkness

Sparkled in her eyes

The scent in the air

Kissed her lips

But her face gave away a monotonic lament

Her vapid thoughts curled deep inside a bottomless chasm

Her wet hair consoled by the cold breezy night

A long wait in the dim light

Eyes fixed across the misty sea

Time flew as swift as it could

Mirrors changing reflections too

Her heart young and ageless

Let the candle light hues find solace in her heart.
