PAIN AND MORE PAIN
Pain
and more pain
Misty road seduces the senses,
Mind wide awake;
Flavours of Darjeeling
brings old English street to life,
the woody cafeteria calls for company;
Blessed are those who die alone,
While pain is remembered
Pleasure is always forgotten,
Comfort of a soul
comforts the mind,
Time and place have lost their panache,
Tied hands and tied mind seeks freedom,
As she holds my shriveled hands
Dusk embraces the wet mountain road.
