The smile

Deceptive stretch of line,

a million meaning to it,

good and dark, find solace beneath it,

spreads faster than the common flu,

can win fiery battles,

can change entire course of history,

can simply sweep off many feet,

its so deceptive even demons can hide behind it,

this stretch of line shallow it seems,

but deeper than mines it is,

a simile can support many lives,

like a tossed coin it has the other side too,

it can cheat and betray you,

this simple stretch of line

can earn a friend or foe.
